As a child growing up in Waukesha, I was plagued by respiratory infections; averaging 3-5 episodes of bronchitis or pneumonia per year from 3rd-5th grade. I remember lying in bed as a fifth grader having missed my 42nd day of school for the year and seeing the worry on my mother's face. This bout of illness was diagnosed as walking pneumonia, a sinus infection, sinusitis, and two ear infections. I was prescribed fourteen different medications throughout the episode, which gave me severe diarrhea and indigestion. Unfortunately, none of these treatments seemed to fully restore my health.

Sick with frustration, my parents decided to take my Grandmother's advice to see a "Choir-practor". They took me to see Dr. Robert Hanacik. We were put at ease by the calm, laid-back feel of the clinic and the attitude of hope that Dr. Bob exuded. He found the regions of my spine contributing to my problems and skillfully corrected them. After a number of treatments/adjustments, I was quickly back at school. To this day, I have not had the need for an antibiotic.

I am the third of four children and the only boy. I have five nephews, Aidan, Mason and Evan, and Grant and Gavin. My parents now live in the town of Summit and my mother Paulette has offered to help out at the front desk.

I am a graduate of Waukesha North High School where I was active in ice hockey, volleyball, marching band and drama. I then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I met my wife Sara and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology (animal biology). I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. At Palmer College, I worked as a dissector for the Anatomy Department and a teaching assistant for the Technique (adjusting methods) Department. I was also humbly elected as Vice President of my graduating class. During my last trimester at Palmer, I was able to work for Dr. Michael Rozenblum in Albuquerque, NM at one of the most successful Gonstead Chiropractic clinics in the World. Dr. Rozenblum formally taught globally at the Gonstead Seminars. He continues to be a valuable resource for me because of his wealth of knowledge and experience.

I am a member of the Gonstead Clinical Sciences Society (GCSS), Wisconsin Chiropractic Association (WCA), The Saint Joan of Arc Parish Council, The Knights of Columbus, Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) Men's group. I am also a member of the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce.

My wife, Sara, is a native of Rice Lake, WI and works as a pharmacist for Walgreens. We have a son, Cameron, and are due to have our second child this December. Cameron is a happy, relatively easy going two year old. I take Tuesdays off to spend time with him when Sara is working and I am thankful to be able share the parenting load. We are members of St. Joan of Arc Parish in Nashotah. We enjoy traveling, fishing, reading, bike riding and taking walks. I am also an avid movie buff although, lately I have been watching primarily Veggie Tales, Baby Einstein, and Disney/Pixar movies.

I look forward to meeting you and your family sometime soon.
